Lit evergreens

An evergreen holds light in three dimensions instead of outlining a shape, so a single well-lit spruce does more visual work than a much larger investment in bare deciduous wrapping.

Tree size and count is the dominant factor — a mature maple is many times the material and labor of a young ornamental. Then: how much shrub bed is in scope, how many evergreens, whether walkways and steps are included, how far the runs are from available power, and how much the grade complicates access and staging.
