What Installation Day Looks Like

You do not need to be home. We need access to the front of the house and to exterior outlets.

Split-levels take longer than they look. Following two or three roof planes means repositioning ladders repeatedly. It is the right way to do it and it is not fast.

Power gets tested first. Some of the 1947-era houses near LaPorte Road have exterior outlets that predate the display you are asking for. We find out what the circuit will carry before we design around it.

Trees are the long part. Wrapping a fifty-year-old parkway tree in the Brightwood streets is hours, not minutes.

Dusk test before we leave. Every run checked lit that afternoon.

What Drives the Cost

Linear footage of roofline — and on a split-level that number is higher than the house size suggests, because you are following multiple planes.

Height and pitch. Second-storey peaks on the newer stock take longer than a single-storey eave.
